Character Details
Age 69 Hair/Eyes Grey/Brown
Height/Weight 5'5" / wiry Notable Traits looks like the librarian of your nightmares, because that's what she is.
15 Second Summary Gertrude Robinson is a dry, practical, and impressively spry older woman who once was the Head Archivist to the Magnus Institute of London. She is no longer that, in a sort of "you're fired/I quit" situation and also [SPOILERS] shot her. Unlike a lot of people who find themselves in contact with the supernatural, Gertrude has managed avoid being 100% claimed by any one entity, and is, more or less human, with all the benefits and drawbacks of that status.
Abilities & Permissions
Abilities - Can compel people to answer questions truthfully.
- Can compel full narrative statements.
- Capable with explosives and setting fire to things.
- Hard to and/or unpleasant to mind-read.
- Probably has some ill-defined supernatural senses.
Permissions I prefer not to deal with graphic harm to animals. other than that, anything goes, just hit me up for a check-in if things are potentially getting into grievous bodily harm territory.
Sensing she's human :)

Gertrude Robinson

I “have never failed in kindness”? No, we lived too high for strife,—
Calmest coldness was the error which has crept into our life;
But your spirit is untainted, I can dedicate you still
To the service of our science: you will further it? you will!

There are certain calculations I should like to make with you,
To be sure that your deductions will be logical and true;
And remember, “Patience, Patience,” is the watchword of a sage,
Not to-day nor yet to-morrow can complete a perfect age.
